About us
Welcome to the DMV African History Reading Group! This is a new meetup! We are assessing interest for other people who would like to join a monthly reading group on African history nonfiction to join others who are growing their understanding of the continent through the lens of history - via paper readings and book chapter readings. This is intended to be friendly for busy folks who cannot get through a full book between sessions so we will focus on shorter readings.
