A meetup group for musicians in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area focused on real bands, live music, and the local alternative scene.

This group is mainly for people into:

• Metalcore
• Post-hardcore

The goal is to connect musicians looking to:

• Start or join bands
• Find bandmates
• Network within the DMV scene
• Promote shows and original music
• Meet local artists, promoters, and scene supporters
• Stay connected to what’s happening around the area

We’re primarily focused on traditional band setups:
Guitarists, bassists, drummers, vocalists, and other live instrumentalists.

The focus is on original music, active local bands, younger musicians, and people trying to build something creative in the scene.

Meetups will mainly happen around Falls Church and nearby DMV locations. Whether you’re trying to form a new project, replace a band member, discover local talent, or just meet people with similar musical interests, this group is here to help strengthen the local alternative music community.
