August Meet-Up

Announcing a new Meetup for The Austin Dungeons & Dragons Meetup Group!

What: August Meet-Up

When: Sunday, August 15,[masked]:00 PM

Where: BattleForge Games
2700 W Anderson Ln
Austin, TX 78757
[masked]

Hi all,

I have scheduled a Meet-Up on Sunday, August 15th, at 1:00 p.m., at Battleforge Games.

So far, we have one 4E game lined up:

Multi-Session Level 9 4E Adventure. Matt will be DMing the first installment of a ninth-level 4E adventure: "Tomb of Horrors." He anticipates running additional installments over the course of the next few Meet-Ups. Players interested in this game should bring a 9th-level character, using the standard rules for equipping your character (i.e., one 10th-level magic item, one 9th-level magic item, one 8th-level magic item, and starting gold pieces equal to the value of a 8th-level item which players may spend as they see fit).

Possibility of a Level 1 4E Adventure. Multiple people have indicated that there's some interest in a low-level adventure that would be more accessible to new(er) players. If there is sufficient interest, I'll be happy to run a Level 1 4E Adventure at the Meet-Up. If you are interested in this possibility, please say so in your R.S.V.P. so that I will know to come prepared to run it.

DMs Wanted. If you are interested in running an adventure at a future Meet-Up, please feel free to contact me and/or one of the other Assistant Organizers. You're welcome to run any version of D&D that floats your boat (or even another fantasy RPG, such as Pathfinder).

Interested in Organizing an Event? I know that the traditional Sunday time slot does not fit everyone's schedule. If you are interested in organizing an event on a different day/time (whether on a regular basis or just a single occasion), that can be arranged. The Meet-Up software has been updated and now permits me to designate Meet-Up members as the "host" of an event. So if you would like to schedule and organize an event sometime, feel free to contact me.

Hope to see you at the Meet-Up.

Christian
