Implementing Active Security in you Docker cluster
THIS IS A FREE EVENT - PLEASE RSVP USING THIS LINK https://events.docker.com/events/details/docker-barcelona-presents-implementing-active-security-in-you-docker-cluster Woah! We have our application deployed in a cluster and ready to manage or fleet of containers. And is really awesome, we can scale them automatically! But, but... WTF?! What does it mean this message about "File below a known binary directory opened for writing"? Which container opened a file under /bin to write in among the other 9813 containers in my deployment? When you are managing a Docker cluster with a lot of nodes and containers, finding which one originates the alert may be cumbersome. Time matters and the faster we can react to a security issue the better to avoid greater damage. Automation is an important point in DevSecOps mindset, and in this talk we are going to learn how to implement custom playbooks with Open Source Software and deploy it using serverless technology for deploying an active security system which uses Sysdig Falco for detecting security threats. Agenda 7:00 pm: Introduction 7:15 pm: DevSecOps Automation 8:15 pm: Networking --- Speaker Néstor Salceda - Sysdig Néstor is a passionate and upbeat software engineer. He loves to pick an idea, develop it and making it real. He is also a Open Source Software enthusiast and right now, he is part of Sysdig team. While he is not in front of its computers, you will find him playing in the ground with his two little twins or practicing Judo or Aikido. Hosted By Dimitris Kapanidis, Community Leader Jonas Julve, Community Leader --- Partner eDreams Odigeo Headquarters (https://www.edreamsodigeo.com/) --- THIS IS A FREE EVENT - PLEASE RSVP USING THIS LINK https://events.docker.com/events/details/docker-barcelona-presents-implementing-active-security-in-you-docker-cluster

What we're about

Learn, Collaborate & Dockerize! Meet other developers and ops engineers in your community that are using and learning about Docker. Docker is an open platform that helps you build, ship and run applications anytime and anywhere. Developers use Docker to modify code and to streamline application development, while operations gain support to quickly and flexibly respond to their changing needs. Docker ensures agility, portability and control for all your distributed apps.

Docker is also the main sponsor of the Moby Project, an open framework to assemble specialized container systems without reinventing the wheel. More information available at http://mobyproject.org/
