Synthesizer Jam

Group jam night with synthesizers, effects, and drum machines!

2-4 person synth lineups. One person runs a drum machine and master clock, 1-3 others will join. We’ll rotate through about every 15 minutes.
This is a great chance to

• Meet other synth enthusiasts nearby
• Learn to jam with others if you are used to working on electronic music alone
• Provides a weekly night for you to bring your gear and experiment with it in a collaborative space

Each Player will have access to:

• Synths
• Keyboard/Sequencers
• Mixers
• FX

We have synths and mixers and effects to jam with but feel free to bring your own, just make sure it’s something you can plug and play with.
FAQ’s

1. All ages? Yes, but if you are under 18 you need to be accompanied with an adult.
2. BYOB? We have a mini fridge to store your select beverages.
3. Is this a modular synth night? You can bring modular gear but this night is not specifically for modular gear. I sometimes rock a $150 Korg Volca.
4. How experienced should I be? You should be comfortable with the gear you are bringing. Presets are fine but you should know how to evolve the sound easily. You don’t need to know all the scales and all the keys but you should be comfortable saying so in order for someone to help you out.
