What we're about

The ever popular Doc Wong (free) Riding Clinics have been going non-stop for the last 22 years and this Meetup Group is an extension of that. I now have had over 22,000 riders attending my various events during that time!!! This is a community meeting place for all those who have attended or want to attend any of my Doc Wong (FREE) Motorcycle Riding Clinics.

The purpose is to help you improve your Cornering Confidence and to create a Doc Wong Riding Clinic Community where we can share ideas, improve your riding and go on some awesome rides. Also, please note that while there may be only 10 or so signups for an event, don't be surprised to see 50 riders present at the event as many riders find out about my clinics thru other sources.

1. Find out and sign up for any of the different clinics and activities we have.

2. Volunteers can meet and coordinate.

3. Ask questions about riding tips and questions.

4. Create meetups for day and multi-day rides and tours.

Type of bikes: Sport Bikes, Cruisers, Dual Sport bikes, Dirt Bikes...any bikes are welcome. Experience levels from beginner to advanced. I personally own all of these different types of bikes and love riding them all! Riders feel free to create your own rides in addition to the ones I organize. If you want to improve your riding, come to some awesome riding activities and meet other riders in a fun environment, then please join! The goal is to have more confidence while cornering, making motorcycling more fun and safe!

Doc Wong/Scotty Storey Special Workshop: What To Do After An Accident - Th, Jan 22 at 6:30pm

This is a very special workshop with Scotty Storey (friend, motorcycle enthusiast, and attorney), Anthony Morales (insurance specialist) and myself on what to do after an accident!!

What: What To Do After An Accident
When: Thursday January 20,[masked]:30 PM
Where: Doc Wong’s Chiropractic Office
1021 Alameda De Las Pulgas
Belmont, CA 94062
Cost: $0.00
How to register: email me at [masked]

When we become involved in an accident, we do what we need as far as first aid, getting home and such, but what happens next??

Often times we have questions regarding:

1. Attorneys: Should I get an attorney? How does that all work, etc? What if I get a ticket for my accident?

1. Insurance: How does my or the other person’s insurance work? Who pays? What if I have a poor driving record?

1. Healthcare: How do I get treatment if I am injured? What happens when there are lingering problems, what are the best ways to solve these issues, especially with neck and back pains, etc.

Thanks to Scotty and Anthony for volunteering their time to help us in those questions and issues.

Ride street, ride track, ride dirt, trials.....ride.....well!

Doc Wong Adventure Dual Sport Clinic Rides Again! (Required Friday Clinic)

Full Motion Chiropractic

Doc Wong Adventure Dual Sport Clinic Rides Again! - Level 1: Basic, January 21 and 23!

Due to some very popular requests, I created the Doc Wong Dual Sport Clinic for adventurous dual-sport, dirt and street riders. Basically anyone who wants to improve their dirt skills. We've had over 20 years of consistent feedback on getting impressive results with riders gaining greatly improved dirt skills and confidence!

Then Covid came along and we had to take a break.

So now due to popular and constant demands from friends and other riders, we ride again!!

I am now more than happy to announce the restart of the Doc Wong Adventure Dual Sport Clinics with our first one on…

Doc Wong Adventure Dual Sport Clinic: Friday/Sunday, January 21 and 23, 2022!

If you're a street rider and don't have a dual-sport or dirt bike, come to Friday night's lecture and demonstrations as I guarantee that

it will be an educational experience for you. Though I'd have to say that I've had a rider show up Sunday with a full dress Harley Davidson motorcycle that did the dirt clinic. He did well too!

Not only will you learn Doc Wong's 12 Basic Fundamentals of Dirt Riding Skills, but you'll get the most important data point of riding any motorcycle competently. I'll cover vital topics and drills dealing

with coordinated balance, controlled sliding of the rear AND front wheels, controlled wheelies, hillclimbs and much more.

So how do I get newer Adventure Dirt/Dual-Sport riders to, safely, do things like lock up the front wheel, do wheelies etc all 4 hours of drills???? Attend Friday night's lecture and demonstration and find out about Doc Wong's Proven Riding Confidence Generator!!

If you're a more experienced dirt rider I'd appreciate any help you'd like to give in leading a group, etc.

This clinic is held on two separate days.

**Please note: Friday night's talk is a prerequisite to Sunday's drilling session.

Cost: $30.00 donation to the Doc Wong Riding Clinics for clinic costs. Sound too good to be true? Yes, but it's true and has been for the last 21 years of the Doc Wong Riding Clinics with now

over 41,000 riders having attended my various events! The $30 donation is appreciated and if you want to donate more, that would be

wonderful, but you won't be asked to.

Part A: Friday evening, January 21 at 6:30 PM will be a 2 1/2 hour talk at my chiropractic office:

Full Motion Chiropractic

1021 Alameda de las Pulgas

Belmont, CA 94002

(650)[masked]

Part B: Sunday 4 hours of drills, drills and more drills. I can pretty much guarantee that after this your dirt riding confidence will significantly improve along with feeling much more confident with your street riding, especially when road conditions get slippery.

We will practice and drill the exact concepts that were explained and demonstrated on Friday night!! The drilling location is subject to change so I'll announce that Friday at my office at Full Motion Chiropractic.

TO REGISTER: E-mail me ASAP at: [masked] (limited to the first

40 riders, so if you register and can't make it, please let me know

ASAP as there will be a waiting list)

Anyone is welcome to come to the evening "Dirt Riding Workshop-Talks

and Demonstrations" part of the clinic and is not limited in numbers,

however the practical "Doc Wong Adventure Dirt Drills" part of the clinic is limited to 40 riders.

WHAT TO BRING TO THE DIRT RIDE

A. Snacks, lunch and water.

B. Gear: Minimally have a good helmet, gloves, heavy boots, blue jeans and a long sleeved shirt. Full dirt riding gear is ideal: Dirt helmet, goggles, chest protector, elbow guards, gloves, knee pads and dirt

boots. Regular dual sport riding and touring gear is ok too, but be aware it may get hot.

C. Mechanical: bike in good order, knobbies will work best, however dual-sport tires will work also. Street bike tires will provide a unique experience! ;-)

D. You can bring luggage if you want. We'll be at a location where you can stow some gear.

E. Type of bike: at this time you can bring just about any kind of bike. The drills area is flat with various paths. If your feeling adventurous, just bring a street bike and go slow, remember your responsible for yourself.

Wheelies, healies, endo's and stoppies!
Needs a date and time

Needs a location

Kind of half-way, sorta seriously? Anyone interested in learning more about getting the front or rear wheel in the air? Call me crazy but I like to explore the outer edges of control on my machine. Don't get me wrong, I'm a very safety conscious rider. And when I know where those edges are than I know how complete my control is in a given situation. Capiche? Can I get a second?
