Morning Hike - Cowles Mountain

Join us for a quick hike up Cowles Mountain. It’s a great workout with fantastic 360° views of San Diego at the summit.

This is a leashed dog hike. If you don’t have a dog we would still like for you to join us!

Meeting time: Meet at the trailhead off of Golfcrest Dr at 6:50 am - hiking starts NLT 7:00 am.

Elevation gain: 900 ft
Difficulty: moderate
Hiking time: 60-70 minutes
Facilities: restroom at trailhead

How to Find Us: There is a dedicated parking lot for the Cowles Mountain Trailhead off of Golfcrest Dr near the intersection with Navajo Rd. We will meet at the benches off to the right as you approach the trail.

PLEASE NOTE that we are starting at the Cowles Mountain Trailhead off of GOLFCREST DR. There is another "Cowles Mountain Trailhead" so be sure that you pick the right one if you're using google maps to find us! We will not wait for you if you go to the wrong trailhead!
