The Hub’s gone haunted! Join us for a ghoulishly good time at this special SpOooOokySocial - a mischievous evening of eerie games, haunting crafts, and chilling community fun.
Our spooky activities will have you laughing (and maybe screaming) into the night:
• Get sew freaky and craft wearable costume pieces from masks, to crowns, and other accessories to complete your Halloween look.
• Peer into the unknown and see what the spirits have in store with a tarot reading from The Tarot Woman.
• Snap a spirit selfie in our DIY aura booth.
• Contribute DIY paper marigolds, candles, sugar skulls, and mini food offerings to our Dia de Los Muertos community ofrenda. Bring a photo of someone you would like to honor and use our materials to piece together a wooden frame and keep their memory alive.
• Will you reign down terror on the villagers as the werewolf, or save them from it as a brave villager? Laugh, plot, and make new friends in a game of One Night Ultimate Werewolf!
• And if you dare… test your fate with an official Ouija board donated (or disposed of?!) by a neighbor. A signed Informed Séance Consent Form is mandatory to participate.
The whole Hub has been creepy-fied, with horror films flickering on the wall and cobwebs, cauldrons, and candles filling every corner. Enjoy frightful refreshments like Witch’s Brew, Graveyard Chips & Dip, and Pumpkin Patch Popcorn– plus other spectral snacks to keep you spirited through the night.
The family friendly MinneSLOWta Spooky Stroll may end at dusk (definitely check it out!)… but the night is just beginning at the Hub– if you're brave enough to stay! Adults only, please.
