🎠Improv for All! Workshop at MLK Library
Details
We’re kicking off our very first Doing Nothing Together DC meetup with something fun, low-pressure, and beginner friendly: a free improv workshop at MLK Library on Saturday, June 27 at 1pm.
No acting or improv experience needed at all. This is meant to be a relaxed way to get out of the house, try something different, and meet new people in a casual environment. Expect light games, laughter, and a welcoming atmosphere.
The workshop normally lasts about 1.5 hours and is at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library at 901 G St. NW. Washington, DC 20011. Someone at the information desk will tell you which room is hosting the improv class.
If you’d like to meet beforehand so you’re not walking in alone, I’ll be by the information desk right after you enter the library from 12:45 PM – 12:55 PM and we can head upstairs together. Feel free to also head straight to the event.
Heads up: wear comfortable shoes because you will be standing most of the time.
If you are driving, came about 10 minutes early to find street parking.
Space is limited. If interested, please sign up through Eventbrite: Eventbrite Registration
