Let’s spend a Saturday morning exploring the U.S. National Arboretum together! 🌳
For our September meetup, we’re joining the U.S. National Arboretum Hiking Tour, part of Events DC WalkingTown.
The official tour begins at 10:00 AM, but we’ll meet at 9:40 AM at the National Grove of State Trees. That will give us a little time to find each other and do some quick introductions before the tour starts.
The free guided hike is approximately 2 hours and 3 miles, taking us through the Arboretum’s gardens, meadows, and wooded areas. This is a brisk walk over hilly and uneven terrain rather than a leisurely garden stroll, so wear comfortable walking shoes and come prepared to move!

I’m attending the tour too, and this Meetup is simply a chance for us to find each other beforehand and experience it together.
