EVENT: Table Talk Dating WANTED MEN ONLY. Women’s side is full. This innovative, inaugural event is planned for Friday June 5th at 6:30 at the Blackfoot Inn. What is Table Talk Dating? A live, interactive dating experience where you connect through meaningful group conversations—not small talk. You’ll rotate tables, explore real topics, and meet multiple people in a natural, engaging way.
Who is it for? This event is currently structured for men and women seeking heterosexual connections. We look forward to offering more inclusive formats in the future.
How is this different from speed dating? There are no forced one-on-one conversations or timed “interviews.” Instead, you engage in group discussions that reveal how people think, communicate, and connect in real-life situations.
Is this new? This group has hosted about 60 events like this prior to Covid that were extremely successful. Very much the same concept with more structure this time!
How does the event work? Seated at a table of 8 with a mix of other participants, the host will present a topic and information to be discussed/debated.
You will have approx 20 minutes to discuss the topic at the table
After the 20 minutes the host will engage all of the tables for feedback
The host will share insight and video clips for everyone
Then the tables are mixed up with new people and we go again!
Do I have to speak or share? Participation is encouraged, but there’s no pressure. You can engage at your own comfort level while still learning and observing others.
What kind of topics will we discuss? Topics focus on real relationship dynamics like communication, connection, conflict, emotional awareness, and compatibility—designed to go beyond surface-level conversation.
What if I’m shy or introverted? This format actually makes it easier. You’re not “on the spot” one-on-one, and the structure helps guide conversation naturally.
Will I get to meet everyone? You’ll meet and interact with a wide variety of people throughout the event, giving you a much better sense of compatibility than traditional formats. You may not actually be at a table with every single person, but there will be lots of opportunities to interact and get to know people.
How do connections work after the event? We will be developing a simple way for people to connect in a safe and anonymous way.
Is this only for people looking for a serious relationship? It’s for people open to meaningful connection—whether you’re exploring, dating, or looking for something deeper.
What should I expect to walk away with? Meaningful conversations, new perspectives, real connections, and a better understanding of what you’re looking for
What will the costs be? Costs will be $20 per person
Where will Table Talk events be held? Events will be held in centrally located hotel meeting rooms
How many people will attend? Events will be designed for 40-60 people
How long will each event be? The event is designed to consist of 4 rotations, a different question or topic for each rotation. Plan for 2 1/2 - 3 hours.
Will there be an age range? Since it's a large group there will be larger age ranges. 30-45 or 40-55 or 50-65 or 55+ Register at to be included in the mix and you will be contacted with more information once we get closer to the event in your range.
