Get the Most Out of your (ASP.NET Core) Web App With a PWA

Martin Ullrich will hold his talk "Get the Most Out of your Web App With a PWA" from the Microsoft Insider Dev Tour again for us.

Abstract:
As web developers, we have used web technologies to develop fantastic apps of all kinds. Recent additions to web standards help bridge the divide between what can be done with a web app and a native app. Using these technologies, a new class of apps called “Progressive Web Apps” (PWAs) can deliver a native-like experience through offline functionality, background activity, native platform APIs and even app store listings. We’ll show you how Web developers can take their code meant for the browser and extend it do become a cross-platform, Progressive Web Apps. For ASP.NET Core users, we’ll deep dive into the features it offers to integrate with SPA frameworks and have a look at how frameworks like Angular help us deliver a native user experience.
