Join us for a look into Xamarin's evolution, from its origins in native apps and class libraries to Xamarin.Forms, Xamarin Studio, and tooling like HockeyApp and App Center, covering the benefits and challenges of using Xamarin across different development paths.

The session will also look over the current landscape of app development, including options for native app development in C# versus Swift and Kotlin, along with cross-platform alternatives like .NET MAUI, Uno Platform, Avalonia UI, and non-C# frameworks.

We'll wrap up with a discussion on IDE choices and alternatives to legacy tools like App Center, helping you navigate the future of mobile development.
