.NET South West x umBristol Christmas Special - Lightning Talks, Games & Social

This one should be a fun one for December, as it's always a bit mad at this time of year. We'll be hosting 5 lightning talks followed by a post-event social at Horts. We will be running this meetup in conjunction with the umBristol meetup.

The lightning talks for the evening will be:

• Richard Jackson - Process Mapping as Code with Mermaid JS
• Carl Sargunar - What's new in .NET 9
• Aaron Green - Willpower: The Hidden Process Behind Your Best Decisions
• Stuart Lang - Discriminated Unions in C#
• Tony Edwards - Play your birds right

The first part of the evening will be hosted by the fantastic folks @ iO Bristol, who are also sponsoring the whole event, providing refreshments and kindly putting some money behind the bar at the social afterwards, some do come and join us for a drink.

17:30 - Doors will open at iO, and food and drinks will be available
18:00 - Talks to begin
19:15 - Start making our way over to Horts Townhouse for drinks, socialising and games
