Asatru- New Vinland Meetup Group

Join us for Thing a Viking age term for an assembly where bi-laws are read, disputes settled and deities of law are honored. We will be honoring Tyr and Forseti with a ceremony to remember the importance of voluntary and peaceful interaction when possible. Bring a dish for an outdoors picnic potluck and please RSVP so we know you’re coming. The new amended versions of our mission, vision, hof policy and bilaws will be read and discussed as well. This is good event to learn more about New Vinland and our goals for the next 5 year plan!

This study group our discussion topic is core values. Each tribe, kindred and individual is quite different in Asatru with a lot of personal choice. However there are certain core values and truths that our ancestors have left us through our lore or ancient texts. Join us as we discuss how New Vinland interprets these important core values and beliefs of Asatru today inspired by our ancient pre-Christian faith.
