VERY IMPORTANT - We ask that all players take extra precautions to stay healthy and safe. Please wear face coverings at all times, even when playing, and maintain at least 6 feet of distance between yourself and others when not playing and avoid congregating in groups. Please DO NOT come if you feel sick or not well. Should you be tested positive for COVID after a game, please inform us right away. We encourage players to bring more than one face mask with them to the game. In addition, there will be no Pennies so remember Bring a White T-Shirt & a Blue T-Shirt.

DOWNTOWN PICKUP SOCCER
Started by a group of soccer fanatics who love to play the Beautiful Game and wanted to create a meetup for individuals of all levels.
Our Mission: Play safe, get your workout on & HAVE FUN!!
The Lowdown:
1. Play safe, games are 7v7 including goalie, NO slide tackles, excessive aggression will NOT be tolerated (the precinct is across the street...LOL!!).
2. Cleats are permitted, and Sneakers or Turf Shoes are acceptable as well. We play for an hour with a break in the middle. If no volunteered goal keeper, players will rotate the position. We play with corner kicks and throw-ins. Also, everyone should bring a Blue T-Shirt and a White T-Shirt
3. Pitch Location: Between Baxter & Mulberry St. with additional entrance on Worth & Bayard St.


4. Nearest train stations: Brooklyn Bridge (4, 5 & 6), Canal Street (A, B, C, Q, R, N & 6), Chambers Street (J and Z). Citibike station is available right next to the field on Worth Street. \

I also understand and accept that the practice of soccer, both indoor and outdoor, involves certain risks of physical injury. Therefore I, individually, hereby release and discharge, DOWNTOWN PICKUP SOCCER Organizers and Co-organizers from any and all claims, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses of any kind whatsoever, including but not limited to any claims of negligence, arising out of, resulting from, by reason of, or in connection with my participation in any of DOWNTOWN PICKUP SOCCER programs or activities.
DOWNTOWN PICKUP SOCCER Organizer and its Co-Organizers reserve the right to take and utilize photographs, video, or any type of recording of participating person while engaged in our or associated activities. I consent to DOWNTOWN PICKUP SOCCER use the photograph, video, or recording of me, for advertising, promotional, or related purposes, and waive all rights to compensation and other rights which may arise as a result.
