• Enjoy authentic dinner/ lunch with a local family at a farm house.
• Hoisting of prayer flags at Dochula pass (3100 m) which offers panoramic views of the Himalayan range, including the 108 memorial chortens (stupas) built in honour of Bhutanese soldiers.

🚶‍♀️ About the Walk:

Join us for a refreshing walk through Thomson Nature Park, one of Singapore’s most serene green escapes. This lesser-known gem is rich in biodiversity, heritage, and peaceful forest trails – perfect for nature lovers and casual walkers alike.

Thomson Nature Park spans 50 hectares and has 5 trails, totaling about 3.8 km. All trails are relatively easy, but for this Meetup, we will be walking appx 5–6 km, covering most of the trails to fully experience the park’s natural beauty and heritage sites.

Along the way, we’ll explore the remnants of a 1930s Hainanese village, spot wildlife like the Raffles’ Banded Langur, and enjoy shady streams, bamboo groves, and lush secondary rainforest.

✅ Ruins & Figs Trail (~1.5 km) – Passes heritage ruins of a former Hainanese village and majestic fig trees.
✅ Stream & Ferns Trail (~1.4 km) – Walks along clear freshwater streams with lush fern vegetation.
✅ Langur Trail (~0.15 km) – Best chance to spot the endangered Raffles’ Banded Langur.
✅ Macaque Trail (~0.4 km) – Shady loop featuring fast-growing pioneer trees.
✅ Rambutan Trail (~0.4 km) – Path lined with charming bamboo groves, great for photos.
