# Dreamwork: Engaging the Dream Counsel
What happens when we begin to engage with the characters in our dreams?

In many dreams, we encounter figures who guide, challenge, accompany, or deliver messages—each carrying insight from the deeper psyche.
This evening workshop offers a quiet, immersive space to unwind and drop into a more reflective, dreamlike state. Through guided dream re-entry, you’ll begin to form relationships with the figures in your dreams, exploring how they may offer guidance and reveal patterns that shape how you live, relate, and make decisions.
## What if I Don't Remember My Dreams?
This is one of the most common questions I am asked, and if you’re asking it, you’re not alone. I’ve also experienced periods of dream drought, so I understand how this can feel.
During the guided journey, experiences and visions often arise that can be worked with in the same way as nighttime dreams. Another powerful option is to work with the last dream you remember, a childhood dream, or a “big dream” from your past.
A common experience during periods of dream drought is that once we begin engaging with dreamlike states, dreams naturally begin to return.
## What to Expect
Arrive as you are. The first 15 minutes are set aside for a relaxed arrival, with tea, light nourishment, and space to settle.
Participants will be invited to:
- recognize archetypes and patterns within dreams or visions
- engage directly with dream figures through guided meditation
- explore the light and shadow aspects these figures embody
- discover what these figures may offer in waking life
No prior dreamwork experience is required.
