Copter Build! Episode 1 (deciding what to get)

Update: Changed location to the on-site conference roomand moved it back a 30 minutes because the conference room is taken until 6:30. It IS okay to show up a little after 6, we'll do a little flying beforehand.

I think we're going to have quite a few people and several experienced buliders/flyers on hand.

For anyone who wants to build a quad or hexcopter (or any other multi-copter, we're going to build and fly some copters. We're also going to plan a group order.

We're going to try to build one on the spot and then if you want to build one too, I'm going to put together a few base kit packages to take the guess work out of building your first rig.

Let's get together and help anyone who wants to get in on a group order to try to save a few dollars and also have familiar setups/platforms on which to learn/build.

Then we'll get them all here a few weeks later and we can have a build day.

I'm looking into making a particular little indoor video copter, which I think will be a good one to learn from for all sizes.
