WHY: The San Diego Drone User Group is a community based group of like-minded individuals that get together to fly, share knowledge and experience, keep everyone apprised of new regulations and promote safe and responsible flying of this very addictive hobby. We want to share our knowledge and experience with everyone interested in learning about Radio Control (RC) aircraft. Building your own aircraft is an excellent way to grow and expand your knowledge base. Crashes are a fact of life flying RC aircraft (gravity is always in effect, it’s the Law). Having the knowledge to know what parts are damaged or defective will help you to get your aircraft back in the air in the most economical way possible. Knowledge is power and the more knowledge you have, the better understanding you have regarding RC aircraft. The FLITE TEST MINI F-22 RAPTOR is a perfect gateway aircraft if you are interested in drones, FPV (First Person View) and RC technology.
