Cyndy Paige, owner of Rhythm of the Earth, is a long-time student of Sun Bear's Chippewa Medicine Wheel, and she uses the teachings of the wheel to inspire the circles to create a connection between heart, soul and the natural world. The Earth Mother and the plants and animals we share her with have much to teach us!
"The entire experience of the Sacred Circle is of course...healing. The drum rhythms I teach are ancient, mostly slow, meditative and deeply transformative (the heartbeat for instance). They feel of course, quite shamanic because we connect with the energies of the earth...the animals...the elements...the trees...the stones...the heart of the Earth Mother. We also connect with whatever each circle member’s experience of the divine is...whatever name, feeling, system or belief. Even though I teach from a Native American foundation, it matters not what or who (divine energy) you bring to the circle...all are honored. At the core...the experience of the Rhythms, Dances, Sounds, and Energy of the circle, are deeply Spiritual, and of course a feeling of Unity, Peace and Balance is possible. The space in the center of a lovingly created sound cannot help but heal and expand our hearts. Absolutely no experience is needed, and if you don’t have a frame drum, one will be provided."
Cyndy Snake Dancer Paige received the name “Snake Dancer” from Spirit in a profound Vision Quest experience. She is a Council member of the Buffalo Trace Society. She is a traditionally trained Shamanic Sound Healer and Sacred Drum and Rattle Maker who has extensively studied Earth honoring traditions, in initiatory type apprenticeships, with indigenous elders.

Learn to Shamanic Journey for insight and personal healing (online)

During this 3-session course, we'll practice the steps of setting our intention, entering the shamanic state of consciousness (theta brain waves), and processing the experience. By following the heartbeat of the drum - as people have for millennia - we journey to connect with our gifts.
Journeying is an excellent way to strengthen the power of your intuition. We are the ones we have been waiting for. Our families, community, and the Earth Mother need our elevated consciousness.
Over the course of 3 consecutive Mondays - June 8, March 15, & March 22. 7 - 9:30 pm EDT, we will meet online via Zoom to cover & practice this step-by-step process.

* This practice and the experiences you will have will provide you with a foundation for your personal journey work. If you are interested in significantly deepening your understanding of shamanic journey through the exploration of the Medicine Wheel, this course is a prerequisite to joining your first quadrant of the shamanic apprenticeship, A Circle of Stones. A private Soul Retrieval Ceremony and Chakra Clearing are recommended but not required.

Coyote Medicine Healing Retreat and Solstice Ceremony
Vass, NC, USUnexpected change - upending everything - what do we do with it? In this weekend retreat, we'll work with the teachings of Coyote - thought to be the Trickster in Native American tradition. Together we'll hold ceremony, journey, drum, sing simple sacred songs, and have invitation to share from our lives & experiences to create a space for personal healing, rest, rejuvenation, or what is most needed. Along with Coyote, we'll work with the element of fire, the emotions, and the energy of summer.
You are welcome, regardless of experience. There are no prerequisites.
We will meet at 10 am - 6 pm EDT on Saturday, June 20 at a private home in Vass, North Carolina. Lunch will be provided.
