Drumming & Dancing @ Peace In The Park

Hello Friends,

Jim and I are so excited to host Drumming & Dancing at Peace in the Park this year on Saturday, 7/12!! The drumming will start around 4:15 PM, but there is a full day of festivities that start at 9 AM. See below or check it out on Facebook here:

For the drumming portion, bring something to sit on and feel free to bring drums, hand percussion, other instruments, flow toys, etc (if you have them). If you don't have a drum, fear not, we have a bunch of drums and hand percussion. Come and drum, dance, move, flow, sing, chant, hoot, holler as the spirit moves you!

This is a free event, but if you want to bring a dish for the potluck, it would be greatly appreciated!!

Come and play or just Be... A day of peace and ease 2 rejuvenate!

Please participate in as many events as you see fit, enjoy the food, dance, chant, drum, meditate, drink the water as we do not have the Kool Aid!

This is a family friendly event sooo No Alcohol or Drugs.

There R only a few things mandatory.

#1 you must be here


#2 you must take a garbage bag for yours/your family's trash too take with you as there is no trash pickup from the park.

#3 you must wear a nametag. They will be at the sign in table with your trash bag.

This is a free event and all of these wonderful facilitators are donating their skills/time so please breathe in this beautiful moment in time and savor their collective love... I am in AWE that these Amazing artists Grace us each year with their presence! I would Love for them ALL to leave their own information in the discussion so if you would like to utilize their services? That info will be there for you!!!

P.S. : Please share This event and maybe consider bringing a dish to share with as this is also a potluck! I do my best to have enough food for all and in years past people have been amazingly generous in sharing a little dish that is easy to make and or their specialty! There will be a Donation box but please do not feel like that is necessary because it isn't. In the past I've used any funds gathered to defray the costs of PITP also have made donations to the Courthouse Center for the Arts, which is run by my friend Mariann Almonte. Please check the Courthouse out as they have the best tribute bands and sooo much more happening
