NOVA Drupal monthly meetup

Hey ya'll,

Good news! We're having our official 2011 Northern Virginia Drupal Meetup on Wednesday, June 22 at 7:30 pm. I know a lot of folks in NOVA have been jamming on some awesome projects and we could all benefit from learning about them and sharing our own work. If you are interested in presenting, let me know and I'll get you on the schedule.

Presentation:
Josh Caldwell, Web Developer at Phase2 Technology, will share an overview of the semantic tagging module--OpenCalais--powered by Thompson Reuters's Calais service. While it was a major module is Drupal 6, it still doesn't have a Drupal 7 release. We'll discuss the difficulties in porting OpenCalais to D7 and how things have changed because of entities.
