Monthly Drupal Meetup

Our meetup this month is at Agency Chief in Dupont Circle. Join us for a round of lightning talks and plenty of socializing. Everyone is welcome to this casual event.

This month we have two speakers!

Jitesh Doshi, from SpinSpire, a Jacksonville, FL area Drupal shop, will be presenting part 1 of 2 on his series covering cover RESTful services in D8, intro to ReactJS, and how to make them work together. In this first part Jetish will demo a project that is built with the two technologies. The second part, which will happen next month, will detail how it is built.

Frank Adames from Hope One Source, a nonprofit organization that helps hundreds of service providers prevent and end homelessness, is going to give us the lowdown on a tool built with Drupal that sends geolocated text messages from service providers to users of the tool.

• Show off a newly-launched Drupal site
• Demo a contrib module that you've released
• Give a preview of changes being made in the next version of Drupal core
• Share what you learned at a recent Drupalcon or camp
• Talk about any Drupal-related topic as it relates to project management, design, development, accessibility, usability, QA, account management, etc.
