DTR Mahjong

Looking for more IRL connection downtown? Curious about what the heck this Mahjong thing is? Or both? Join us for a monthly American Mahjong meetup every first Monday of the month.

Who We Are
Beginners are welcome! If you're seeking a chill mahjong meetup where we occasionally double-check ourselves about the (finicky) rules and like to chat, this is for you. If you're seeking a serious, expert group, this might not be your tribe.

Where to Go
We're kicking this off at Woody's in downtown Raleigh in City Market. We'll be in the "back" room, which is off Blount Street, or you can enter in City Market and walk back.

What to Do
Please support Woody's by buying a drink. If you eat, please do do before the game or after you play a round so we can keep the Mahjong tiles clean. :)

What to Bring
If you have a Mahjong set, cards, or a table mat, please bring any and all of those. I (the host) will bring one set and a mat to start and we'll see how many people join.
