Get ready for something completely different! The Dubai Philosophy group is launching a brand new, one-of-a-kind meetup dedicated to exploring the thoughts and ideas we often keep to ourselves – even the uncomfortable ones.

Welcome to Controversial Opinions – a space designed for sharing and dissecting viewpoints that might not be popular, mainstream, or widely accepted.

What's the premise?

Simple: Bring an opinion you hold – perhaps philosophical, psychological, social, ethical, or just plain weird – that you suspect might raise eyebrows or challenge core beliefs. This is your chance to articulate it, hear different perspectives, and engage in robust, respectful discussion.

Potential sparks for thought (bring your own too!):

Why This Meetup?

We believe that examining uncomfortable or unpopular ideas is crucial for intellectual growth and understanding diverse perspectives. This isn't about winning arguments or converting others; it's about the shared exploration of challenging ideas in a curious and open-minded environment.

While we encourage challenging ideas, respect for individuals is non-negotiable.

Important Location Note: We will initially gather at Mr. Toads. If our group grows to more than 12 participants, we will move next door to Nuevo Restaurant (within the same floor) to ensure comfortable seating for everyone.
