We pass under the railway bridge to another world of Malahide. The estuary seems to be in a quieter mood here. Well, most of the time that is. The Little Egret appears to favour this place. I spotted a male and female when I was checking out the walk. We wander on along by the water on the grass verge. Seamount House is across the way. This is a Neo-Elizabethan style period residence. We reach Malahide Yacht Club which dominates this stretch of the walk. Then we turn up Sea Road to find a chocolate box cottage nestled away. At this point, we will probably return to Malahide village and to Fowler’s pub. If time allows we can continue onto Seabury but this is unlikely as we will be stopping at will to shot what excites us.
