Join us for a four day cycling trip based in the beautiful Spanish city of Girona.
We will fly into Barcelona Girona airport which is a 15 minute journey to Girona city centre on Thursday 8th May .

Each day, 9th , 10th , 11th , 12th, May we will venture out on routes into the beautiful surrounding countryside through traditional villages on roads and lanes with minimal traffic.
The terrain is varied with plenty of flat sections along with gently sloping hills.
Each day will have two alternate routes covering different distances and difficulty to cater for varied levels of fitness..
You will be responsible for arranging your own flights, accommodation and bike hire. You can of course bring your own bike if you prefer.
Please be advised if you are coming on the trip a certain level of fitness is required to make the trip enjoyable.
Daily distances will be between 45km to 90km.

It is recommended that all participants acquire travel insurance in advance of the trip.

Day 2: Cycling the Costa Brava & Greenway to Girona

Today, on the second day of our Girona trip, we’ll cycle the stunning Costa Brava from Tossa de Mar to Sant Feliu de Guíxols, then head inland along the old rail greenway back to Girona.

🚴‍♂️ Plan for the Day:

1️⃣ Transfer to Tossa de Mar – A 40-minute minibus ride to our starting point.
2️⃣ Coastal Ride – We begin with a spectacular ride along the coast from Tossa De Mar to Sant Feliu de Guíxols, where we’ll stop for lunch and an optional swim.
3️⃣ Greenway Back to Girona – After lunch, we cycle inland via the Sant Feliu de Guíxols Greenway, a scenic former railway line.

🆕 Optional Longer Route:
For those who want extra distance, there’s an optional road cycle back over the hills from Sant Feliu de Guíxols to Girona.

Join us for a scenic cycle through coastal and country Dublin!
**87km, 400m climbing **

We’ll head out from Clontarf and enjoy a relaxed ride along the coast and quiet backroads through north County Dublin, stopping for coffee in the village of Stamullen before returning by a different route. It is 85km with some hills .

Here’s the plan:
1️⃣ Meet at the sails sculpture on Clontarf Road at 9:15am
2️⃣ Cycle out to Stamullen, with a coffee stop and chat
3️⃣ Return to Dublin via a different scenic route
4️⃣ We aim to be back in the city centre by around 3:00pm

What to bring:

A helmet
Spare tube and any tools you might need for a puncture

Important:
This is a social, volunteer-organised ride. We are not professionals, so everyone takes part at their own risk. It’s up to each rider to follow the rules of the road, ride responsibly, and ensure their bike is in good working order.
