Details

We’re planning a weekend cycling trip to Betws-y-Coed in Snowdonia .
All are welcome to come along.
It's a lovely spot with mountains, forests, and some quiet roads.
It’s hilly but beautiful and perfect for a few days of cycling.

Getting to Betws-y-Coed

1. The 8 am ferry from Dublin Port to Holyhead arrives at 10:20.
2. 1040am train to Llanfairpwllgwyngyll
3. Cycle over the Menai Suspension Bridge, and stop for lunch at Caernarfon Castle, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site
4. We then cycle over the Llanbris Pass and on to Betws-y-Coed.

Coming back on Sunday, we will
take a different route through the Ogwan valley

Driving: You can also drive to Betws-y-Coed. It's about an hour's drive from the Holyhead ferry.

Plan:
1️⃣ Thursday 27th Morning ferry to Holyhead
2️⃣ Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Group rides based in Betws-y-Coed.
3️⃣ Sunday 27th - Late afternoon ferry back to Dublin.

🔹 These times are not set in stone. You can travel over or back whenever suits you
