Day 1 of our tour takes us from Garmisch-Partenkirchen across the German-Austrian border and deep into the Tyrolean Alps, finishing in Innsbruck.
We begin on quiet roads and well-maintained cycle paths, rolling south past alpine meadows and forested tracks. The route gradually climbs toward Seefeld in Tirol (1,180 m), a high plateau village nestled in the mountains — perfect for a well-earned lunch stop.
Afterwards, we descend into the Inn Valley, winding through scenic paths and villages before arriving in Innsbruck.
