Hello and welcome! 😊
Dublin International Mishmash is a relaxed meetup for locals and internationals who want to connect, make new friends, and share a little bit of their culture!
Expect friendly conversations about music, art, traditions, everyday habits, travel, food, and plenty of funny or interesting stories. It’s also a nice opportunity to practise English in a casual setting. All levels are welcome, so there’s no need to feel shy.
We’d love this group to grow into a friendly community with different kinds of activities, such as:
• Saturday afternoon coffee meetups ☕
• Live gigs, both local and international 🎶
• Food outings and cuisine exchanges 🍜
• Cultural conversations and shared experiences 🌍
• Member suggestions for future events
Our main recurring event will be a relaxed coffee meetup every Saturday afternoon. It’s a simple way to meet people, have good conversations, and build a welcoming community over time.
We’re always open to feedback and new ideas, so feel free to suggest activities you’d like to see.

A quick note about group discussions
To keep the group page clean, useful, and free from unnecessary notifications, open discussions are limited to individual events or organiser-created posts.
Many Meetup groups allow members to start discussions directly on the main page, but this can sometimes create too many notifications for everyone, especially on mobile. Keeping conversations tied to specific events helps make the group easier to follow and more relevant for all members.
We also coordinate each meetup with the venue in advance whenever needed, so tables or spaces are properly confirmed before events are published.

Excited to see you at our next meetup! We’re meeting at R.I.O.T., one of the coolest spots in town for good conversations, easy socialising, and a bit more fun with good background music!

We’ll be meeting at R.I.O.T., in a brilliant private space downstairs. It’s a much bigger setup than before, with room for up to 120 people, so there’s more space to mingle, move around, meet new people, and settle into conversations naturally.
The vibe is exactly what Mishmash is about: international, social, and fun. Great atmosphere, proper pub energy, and plenty of space for chats, laughs, and spontaneous connections.
📍 How to find us:
Come into R.I.O.T. and take the stairs on the left down to the basement room. That’s where the Mishmash crew will be waiting for you.

We’ll be downstairs around the big oval table at a much-loved venue that's perfect for easy-going conversations and real connection.🎉 Theme: “International Mishmash”: A chill space for people from all over (including Ireland!) to swap stories, share laughs, and practice languages if you fancy. (Shout-out to our lovely Irish regulars!)
🍻 And after? At 4.20pm, we’ll head over to the nearby RIOT Pub for fun, music, tasty burgers and proper pints. Always a good time!!!
