Dublin Mindfulness Meetup Group is a community of wonderful like-minded people who are willing to explore and practice mindfulness in your daily life.
Mindfulness is a way of being, a way of living. Being in a state of gentle awareness, presence, alertness and focus in this very moment is so important and it can be in some way truly transformational and life changing for some of us.
As Psychologist and Professor Shauna Shapira said: "What you practice grows stronger", and by practicing mindfulness in out daily life, we are cultivating a new state of being and living, rewiring neural pathways, and by doing so, improving our mental and physical state and our life overall.
Nowadays, based on the recent studies, a lot more people are suffering from anxiety and other mental health issues, and mindfulness is one of the ways to support people in such moments, and help overcome these conditions by finding strength, courage to starting incorporating mindful gentle practices in the daily routine.
Such mindfulness practices as meditation, breathing practices, qigong, yoga, mindful talking circles, mindful poetry, practices of self-love and self-care, mindful events for cultivating mindful way of life and other practices are the ways to start with something new and nourishing.
Being a qualified Logotherapist, Qigong and Yoga Instructor, Mindfulness practitioner and a Poet, I am teaching mindful practices and facilitating mindful events in Dublin.
RecentlyI have launched my new course of Mindful Dancing Qigong. Mindful Dancing Qigong, can be also called Medicine Dancing, is mindful breathing through the dance that directs your energy to the particular organs and the parts of the body that needs love, care and healing. The music for this kind of dance is meditative, relaxing piano, kirtan and medicine music that helps calm down the mind, bringing it to this very moment, right here, right now. Mindfulness through dance in combination with qigong practice is a therapeutic approach and in some way unique. Mindful Dancing Qigong is meant for ladies and men, of all ages, who are looking to explore a new way of healing, self-expression and creativity.
I am also organising mindfulness events for opening the heart to self-love and self-care, women's circles, and also giving individual 1/1 sessions on mindfulness and Logotherapy in Ireland and online.
