Join this group if you're training for the Dublin marathon where the avg training pace will be *6:20 mins/kms**on our Saturday long runs.

This week's run is 13 miles/20.9 km. please note change of start time to 8 am . this is a drop down week and most of us will be doing the Dublin half marathon on Sept 23rd. We will then continue to increase our distance with two 20 mile runs at the very end of Sept & the first weekend in Oct. prior to tapering for three weeks before the marathon date on 29th October. A good few of us have signed up to do the Longwood 3/4 on Sunday Oct 8th. Where possible we will run on grass within the Phoenix Park.

Please DO NOT JOIN this group if your avg pace is faster than 6:20 mins/km, the aim of the different training groups is for people to run together. If you want to run with this group, you need to run at the pace indicated and set by the Hosts.

Water stops will be organised each week and we'll take turns leaving water out for the group in agreed locations, for the longer runs we will have 2/3 stops organised.

The starting time may differ on a weekly basis depending on what mileage we're doing as the aim is to finish by 10.30am and join the other Dublin Runners for coffee & cake.

Please Rsvp to the runs early, preferably a few days in advance. If you can't make the run, click out as soon as you can. Check the meetup for any changes to start times/routes etc. as these can vary depending on distance and events in the park.

Please be there at least 10 mins in advance of the advertised start time.
