This year marks 57 years since Stonewall — a moment that changed everything. But Pride is not just about one night in 1969. It’s about what came after.
There was a time in this country when it was illegal to have more than three gay people gathered in one room. Three.
Today, we reserve private dining rooms in our own name.
That didn’t happen by accident. It happened because people stood together. Because they fought. Because they insisted on living openly, even when it came at a cost. Our community is still being challenged — and yet we remain what we have always been: resilient, connected, and unwilling to disappear.
We fought to dance together.
To hold hands together.
To simply exist together.
Now we gather not in secrecy — but in celebration.
Dancing together.
Holding hands together.
Breaking bread together.
Raising a glass together.
Remembering together.
Once, even gathering was considered defiance.
Now, it is celebration.
At Sam’s Steakhouse, excellence is intentional. The finest cuts are chosen carefully, aged with patience, and served with pride. That feels fitting for us. Because our community, too, has been shaped by time — strengthened by adversity, refined by experience.
We are, in every sense, a cut above Pride.
The Polo Room will be ours for the evening — an elegant, private space where conversation flows, laughter carries, and connection feels effortless. Room fee graciously waived courtesy of Sam’s Steakhouse — a generous gesture that reflects their commitment to community and hospitality.
Our table is welcoming. It has grown. And it continues to grow.
