May 9th — Failoni’s.
110th Anniversary year.
And here’s the wild part… we were there 10 years ago for their 100th. A whole decade later and we’re back. How does that even happen?
This is classic American-Italian comfort food done the St. Louis way:
• Legendary STL-style pizza
• Big fresh salads
• Pasta entrĆ©es
• Sandwiches
• Hearty classics
• And yes… PROVEL
Let’s address it.
Some of you love it.
Some of you question it.
Either way — it’s coming to the table. šŸ˜„
The menu is affordable, the portions are generous, and this is an easy, relaxed night out. Bring a friend, split a pizza, share a pasta, pass the salad, and make dramatic Italian hand gestures across that long patio table. That’s the energy.
Last year? July humidity trying to take us out.
One year? A literal tornado warning while we were dining.
Apparently D-3 enjoys suspense with its spaghetti.
NOT THIS TIME.
I secured the covered patio early — called in February and April was already booked. That’s how fast it fills. They’ve always been welcoming, accommodating, LGBTQ-friendly, and that big patio table fits 30 of us like an Italian family reunion.
And bonus — it’s the day before Mother’s Day.
So bring your mama a pizza square. šŸ•
Or at least bring her leftovers and tell her you were thinking of her.
So this year:
No swamp heat.
No sirens.
No weather drama.
Just 110 years… DONE RIGHT.
