There comes a point every year when summer has overstayed its welcome. The leaves start turning, the air finally cools off, and suddenly comfort food sounds like a very good idea.
So D-3 is heading to Schlafly Bottleworks in Maplewood for a little autumn eating!
The menu has some serious fall-weather contenders: Bavarian pretzel sticks with white cheddar sauce, beer cheese soup, the Pub Patty Smash with bacon and stout-braised onions, Sausage & Kraut, and the Sticky Toffee Pudding if you've still got room.
And since it's Schlafly in the fall, you'll likely hear a few familiar seasonal names floating around, including Oktoberfest, Pumpkin Ale and Vanilla Pumpkin Ale.
Not a beer drinker? Doesn't matter one bit. This is Dudes Dining & Destinations, not Dudes Drinking & Destinations. 😄 Come for the food, the fall atmosphere and the guys.
