This time D-3 is landing at Joyful House Vietnamese Cuisine & Seafood on South Grand — and if Vietnamese food still feels a little adventurous to you, maybe it's time to rethink that.
Because this stuff is FLAVOR.
Fresh herbs, savory broths, grilled meats, noodles, rice, seafood and sauces that make you wonder why you keep ordering the same five things everywhere else.
And Joyful House is definitely more than pho. There are spring rolls, crispy egg rolls, bánh mì, vermicelli dishes, grilled meats over rice, Bún Bò Huế, Shaking Beef, hot pots, seafood and plenty more. Play it safe or wander off the culinary map a little.
And yes… BOBA TEA! 🧋 If you’ve never sucked tapioca through a giant straw, D-3 is about to broaden your horizons. 😂
Here's something else we scored: ROUND TABLES! No banquet-table runway with half the Dudes living in another ZIP code. We can actually see each other, talk and compare what everybody ordered.
And the prices? Refreshingly reasonable. Trying something new shouldn't require a financing department.
So forget the idea that Vietnamese food has to be intimidating. Pick something you've never tried. Order something you can't pronounce. Or find something familiar and work your way up.
