Eno River Bug Walk @ Few's Ford
Details
We'll meet at Few's Ford on Friday morning and take a leisurely walk along the trails, stopping whenever something interesting catches our eye.
The goal isn't to cover a certain distance or identify every insect we encounter—it's simply to slow down, pay attention, and explore.
We'll look for insects, spiders, caterpillars, dragonflies, beetles, pollinators, and whatever else decides to make an appearance. Bring your curiosity, ask questions, take photos, and share your discoveries.
No experience is necessary; beginners and seasoned bug enthusiasts are equally welcome.
This is a casual, social outing focused on observation, wonder, and enjoying the small wild things that most people walk right past.
What to bring:
📱 Phone and/or camera for photos
💧 Water
👟 Comfortable walking shoes
☀️ Weather-appropriate clothing
We'll move at a bug-friendly pace, which means there may be frequent stops to admire a beetle, photograph a spider, or investigate something tiny on a leaf.
See you on the trail! 🐛🦋🕷️🐝✨
