Let's get together at various bars around town and make friends! 🍻 We can watch major sporting events like the Superbowl, NHL playoffs, March Madness, as well as seasonal games - everything from hockey 🏒, basketball 🏀, football 🏈, soccer ⚽️, and baseball ⚾️!

My wife and I started this group primarily so that we could make friends in the Durham area and make connections among the locals who love going out 🫶🏼! I am a huge Carolina Hurricanes 🌀fan and Baltimore Ravens 🐦‍⬛fan, but our group is not focused on any one sport in particular, it's more about what is most interesting for people to watch together while getting a drink and hanging out. And since sports are seasonal, what we watch will likely fluctuate throughout the year, so there will be something for everyone!

Even if you're not into sports, come out and socialize, have a drink, and meet people! We are LGBTQ+ friendly 🏳️‍🌈, and open to singles and couples.

Because the organizer fee is so fricken expensive 💰, we ask that you make an annual membership fee of $6 per person to help offset costs and to show you are really interested in coming to meetups! Meetup charges me $300 per year to maintain the group, which is kind of insane 😱.
