We happily welcome Miranda Capra -- one of our newest members who also happens to have deep experience in making tech and physical spaces accessible -- as she talks about practical tools we can use to create accessible sites and apps.

Speaker Bio - Miranda Capra: Miranda teaches Accessibility for Designers, a 6-hour no-code workshop for designers, content writers, and researchers. Miranda is an IAAP CPWA (CPACC + WAS), has been conducting accessibility reviews and training for a decade, and was the Truist Bank Enterprise Accessibility Lead. Previously, she spent 15 years as a UX Researcher.

Durham-Raleigh A11y: The Accessibility Meetup-Triangle Style celebrates its first birthday.
A major part of this birthday party includes a virtual conversation with Lainey Feingold about the recently published book, Digital Accessibility Ethics: Disability Inclusion in All Things Tech. Lainey is an editor and wrote two chapters in this groundbreaking collection.
More details to come, but in the interim please start reading her book and get questions and thoughts ready to discuss with Lainey.
