What we’re about
A group for software developers, designers, and others interested in creating and maintaining accessible (a11y) digital and physical spaces and communication tools to gather and discuss all things #a11y.
Topics include, but not limited to, designing and building accessible user interfaces, assistive technologies, WCAG, the European Accessibility Act (EAA), Section 508, visible and hidden disabilities, accommodations...
Find us at LinkedIn: Durham-Raleigh A11y: The Accessibility Meetup - Triangle Style LinkedIn group.
We also have a Slack workspace for members to discuss all things a11y, including topics to dig into during meetings. Reach out to Esther Siram if you want to join that space.

Thank you:
Special thanks to Clayton Cook and the Durham Food Hall. We have a regular meeting space because of them and value their enthusiastic support of this meetup group and its focus to make digital technologies and spaces accessible to people no matter their (dis)abilities.*Attendees encouraged to support Durham Food Hall vendors by purchasing at least one drink/food item from them while at the meeting.
