Details
Hi everyone,
let´s go for a photowalk in Wuppertal!
We’ll meet at the Primark building in front of the main train station.

This is the first photographic hotspot at Döppersberg. After exploring the area, we will take the suspension railway to Kluse station, where you will see three of the many large murals that have recently been created in Wuppertal. And a staircase covered in graffiti.
A day ticket is recommended for using the suspension railway. You can purchase it individually (€8.80) or as a group, as each additional person costs only €4.40.
However, the Deutschland Ticket is also valid.
We continue with the suspension railway to Barmen. We get off at Alter Markt and walk one stop back to Adlerbrücke. Here you will find a dilapidated tunnel, the opera house, the Engelshaus, and a highly reflective sculpture by British artist Tony Cragg, who lives in Wuppertal.
Finally, we will visit the Luisenviertel, the trendy district with old houses, shops, pubs, and the large Laurentius Basilica with its photogenic forecourt.
In the end we can stop at a cafe or restaurant to round off the day with some drinks or food.
Wuppertal Central Station is within walking distance (approx. 15 min) or just one stop on the suspension railway from the Ohligsmühle stop.
