Configuring Apps Remotely with Care byJohan Kool - Senior iOS Developer
In this talk I introduce the audience to tooling to configure apps remotely in a flexible and versatile yet lightweight way. The tooling comprises a JSON/YAML schema, a CLI tool as well as Swift and Kotlin libraries servicing all major platforms including Android and iOS. I show how serving one static JSON file still provides precise targeting and scheduling capabilities. And finally, in a more experimental mode, I show what is possible at moment to bring Swift code to Android.
Accessibility for Android: From EAA Compliance to TalkBack Excellence by Oya Canli - Senior Android Developer
With the European Accessibility Act setting a clear mandate for inclusive digital experiences, Android developers must ensure their apps are usable by everyone. In this talk, we’ll go over the mobile-related requirements of the EAA and explore tools and techniques to make sure we conform with them. We'll focus in particular on TalkBack, where Android developers can have the greatest impact.
