Are you new to The Netherlands and would you like to connect with others? Do you like to hike and are you ready to explore nature and landscape around The Hague ánd in other parts of The Netherlands? Join the Dutch Nature Hikes!
The hikes take place on Fridays and Saturdays, so just choose what fits you best. Once you sign up for a hike, you will receive all the information you need to join. All locations can be reached by public transport.
The hikes are between 12-20 km long and are nature-oriented. As your guide, I will try to show you parts of The Netherlands that are interesting and beautiful!
This is a perfect opportunity to connect with both people, landscape and nature. I hope to see you on one of our hikes!

See all- Dutch Coast Path - Haarlem to IJmuiden (18 km)Haarlem Central Station, Haarlem€12.00
This last part of the Dutch Coast Path Project starts in the beautiful city of Haarlem. From Haarlem, we follow the trail back to the dunes, into National Park Zuid-Kennemerland, until we reach the sea, and walk along the beach. The hike then continues through the National Park and ends in Driehuis, just south of IJmuiden. A train from Santpoort-Noord will bring us back to Haarlem.
Meeting time and place: this hike starts at 10am at train station Haarlem Centraal.
This hike is fully booked. You may sign up for the waitlist on my website only. You will receive an email when a spot becomes available.
Not open - Nature Hike Delftse Hout (15 km)Stadsboerderij BuytenDelft, Delft€12.00
This 15 km long hike explores Delftse Hout and the Bieslandse Bos, all just outside of Delft. It includes a varieties of landscapes: forest, lakes and farmland. It is beautiful in all seasons, but especially in autumn. About halfway we will take a break at Restaurant Buytenhout.
Meeting time and place: we will meet at 10am at the entrance of Stadsboerderij BuytenDelft. This location can be reached by bus from train station Delft (bus stop Kinderboerderij). Parking space is available along the Korftlaan.

- Winter Hike & Pancakes, Katwijk (12 km)Pan van Persijn, Katwijk€12.00
When the days get shorter and temperatures drop, it is good to go outside and get moving. This hike in the dunes of Katwijk is a perfect opportunity to do just that. As a bonus, we will end the hike at Pancake House Pannenkoekenboerderij Katwijk, for a traditional Dutch pancake lunch.
Meeting time and place: we will meet at 10am at the entrance of the Panbos (Wassenaarseweg 152A). This location can be reached by bus line 385 from Den Haag Centraal, bus stop ‘Panbos’.
The cost of this hike is €12. This does not include the €2 entrance fee for the Panbos, to be paid at the entrance.
