Are you new to The Netherlands and would you like to connect with others? Do you like to hike and are you ready to explore nature and landscape around The Hague ánd in other parts of The Netherlands? Join the Dutch Nature Hikes!
There is a hike about every other Saturday or Sunday. Once you sign up for a hike, you will get a payment link via Whatsapp. A few days before a hike, you will receive an email with further details about the hike. All locations can be reached by public transport.
The hikes are between 12-20 km long and are nature-oriented. As your guide, I will try to show you parts of The Netherlands that are interesting and beautiful!
This is a perfect opportunity to connect with both people, landscape and nature. I hope to see you on one of our hikes!

Autumn Hike Amelisweerd, Utrecht (15 km) - FULL
Bunnik Station, Runnenburg, 19, Bunnik, al, NLStarting in the small town of Bunnik, we will follow the course of the Kromme Rijn river, all the way into the city of Utrecht. The river passes through Amelisweerd forest, just south of the Utrecht Science Park. We will take a break at the Veldkeuken, for a coffee or a hot cup of soup. Or to get some of their famous bread at the Veldkeuken shop! The hike ends in Utrecht at the train station, but feel free to spend some time to explore the city too.
Where to go: this hike starts at 10am at train station Bunnik and ends at train station Utrecht Centraal.

Panbos and Pancakes, Katwijk (12 km) - FULL
Panbos, Katwijk, Wassenaarseweg 79, Katwijk, NLA classic on the Nature Hikes calendar: a hike in the dunes and forests of Panbos and Berkheide, followed by a traditional Dutch pancake lunch at Pannenkoekenboerderij Katwijk. The hike starts in Panbos, then continues through the dunes, all the way to the beach, and back through the dunes to our starting point, close to the pancake house. Along the way we will see (and walk on!) parts of the Atlantic Wall, built in the second World War to protect the coast.
Where to go: this hike starts at 10.15am at bus stop Panbos in Katwijk and ends at the pancake house next to the bus stop. There is parking space available as well.
