Dutch Coast Path De Zilk - Katwijk (20 km)

Details
The Dutch Coast Path is a Long Distance Trail along the length of the coast of The Netherlands. The aim of Project Dutch Coast Path is to walk this trail between The Hague and IJmuiden (north of Haarlem). We will do this in four stages, each about 20km long. Enjoy the beauty of the Dutch coast and join Project Dutch Coast Path!
This part of the trail starts in De Zilk, a small village at the entrance of the Waterleiding Duinen, a protected nature reserve. We will likely see lots of deer in this area. We will follow the trail through the dunes, past Noordwijk and eventually reach Katwijk, a nice beach town where you can have a drink or get an ice cream and relax.
Meeting time and place: this hike starts at 10am at bus stop 'Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen in De Zilk. This bus stop can be reached from train station Hillegom (via Leiden). The hike ends in Katwijk, where you can take a bus back to Leiden.
How to join: RSVP to this hike AND send me a message with your email and phone number (if this is your first Dutch Nature Hike). The cost of this hike includes the entrance fee for the Waterleiding Duinen. After you sign up, you will receive a payment request. A few days before the hike, you’ll receive an email with further details about the hike, including what to bring.
