D-Tour to Srirangapatna

D-Tourers are known for their motorcycling brotherhood and fun rides. Whether the destination is old or new, it's always a new journey. And this time the destination Srirangapatna

Srirangapatna is historical place strewn with many monuments of majesty. It was the capital city of Tipu Sultan and has a history of wars and treaties.

It's located around 130 Km away from Bangalore. We start at 6:00 am from the usual start point, DVK Biking and stop for breakfast on the way, taking the Mysore Road. People who want to join at the Mysore Road Nice Junction can reach by 6.40 am there.

We would be covering Daria Daulat Bagh + Tipu Sultan Fort and Colonel Bailey's Dungeon.

Once we are done here, we head for lunch and head back to Bangalore. Riding in groups usually takes little more time than planned. So we should be back by around 4:00 pm.

As always, it is a free ride. We shall pool in money (Rs.500/- per head, please carry cash to contribute) before the ride starts to take care of all the common expenses and take back what's left. As easy as that! The overall cost for the whole ride would be around Rs.500 +/- 20% per head which includes food but not the fuel.

Everyone is welcome to join! Make sure, you have a bike (any bike is welcome as long as it runs!), helmet, gloves, jacket and boots on the ride. That's mandatory for safety!

It is a short ride. So all new people to the club and first timers, this is a great time to join us and get to know each other so that we can have more fun on longer rides! See you!
