THREE RESERVOIRS, THE SNAKE and THE OLD PLACE
Details
This Ebike ride will consist of 94% paved roads. 6% will be on dirt roads. Along the way, we'll ride that portion of Mulholland Drive, known as the Snake. We'll also ride by Lake Eleanor, Westlake Lake and Malibu Lake, finishing at The Old Place for lunch.
Make sure you bring along a spare inner tube or slime.
MEETUP LOCATION AND TIME: Peter Strauss Ranch at 9:00am.
RESTROOMS: At the meetup location and parks during the ride.
ROUTE This will be our planned route.
DISTANCE: 29 miles
ELEVATION GAIN: 2700'
DURATION: 4+ hours
BIKE RIDE DESCRIPTION: This will be a loop on paved roads and two miles of easy dirt roads.
THE PACE: 8 MPH on up.
LEVEL: Intermediate
LUNCH: At the end of the ride, as an option, you can join me for lunch at The Old Place.
