Openstack and Open Throttle: a multi-vendor Openstack event at K1 Speed

OPENSTACK AND HYBRID CLOUD MODULARITY AND PLUGGABILITY

One of the most important and useful features of OpenStack is that it is modular and pluggable at nearly every layer. At the most recent OpenStack Atlanta summit, 3 of the top 5 most common reasons users choose OpenStack revolve around this feature of OpenStack.

In this talk, Dave Costakos from Red Hat will discuss OpenStack modularity and pluggablity in the Compute, Storage and Networking areas. He'll expand to discuss how technology vendors are plugging into OpenStack in the upstream community and how they are partnering with Red Hat's OpenStack Marketplace, the largest enterprise OpenStack partner ecosystem, to deliver choice to enterprise OpenStack customers so they can avoid Vendor lock in and use best-of-breed technologies at each layer of their private cloud stack.
