How we should consider the future

This week we'll focus our reading and conversation on the EA concepts of longtermism and existential risks. What if this is our final century? Or, what if this is the most consequential century in history? "Longtermism" is the view that improving the long term future is a key moral priority of our time. Per usual, we'll have some shared reading and a discussion to follow at our meet up.
